Build your foundation on God

“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock“- Matthew 7 vs 25

How is your life like? How have you been living your life up to now?. Are you happy with where your life is now? Or do you feel there is still something missing?

You may have been through a lot, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start a new life in Christ.

I want to ask you some few questions. How is your foundation? what is your life source? What or who do you depend on? Who or what do you run to when things don’t make sense anymore?

Once you’ve answered these questions, now ask yourself “is my foundation solid on these things or this person?” Ask yourself, “if I’m told by the doctor that I only have a few months left to live, will I accept the news or turn to my source for help?”, “Will they hear me?” , “Will they answer me?”

All these questions will help you to understand more about your source and who or what your hope is built on.

Today, I want to share with you, my source of life in whom I have built the foundation of my life, future and my entire being. His name is Jesus Christ.

Yes, you may assume how stupid it is for anyone of that matter to hope or believe in someone they do not see.

But, I can assure you, its much more than just a feeling. Millions of people have experienced incredible things, through the power of the living Christ. They have had encounters with the living God, inside and out.

When the rain comes down and the streams rise, and the wind is blowing and beat against you- will you fall?

Is your foundation build on a solid rock ( Jesus Christ) ? Or is it built on nothing or on things you can only see?

Matthew 7 vs 25 simply explains that when we experience stormy seasons and when life’s circumstances has shaken us, it asks us, who do we put our trust in?

Will you fall in stormy seasons or will your hope, faith and foundation be built on God?

If you have answered “no” to these questions or if you have answered “no” to the calling of God over your life, don’t worry, there’s still a chance for you.

Today is the day that God has destined you to read this message. So, If you are willing to accept Jesus and build your trust and hope in Him then take just a few minutes wherever you are and repeat these few words;

“Lord Jesus, I am ready to give you a chance in my life. I am sorry for all my sins and I want to build my foundation in you. I welcome you into my heart and into my life. Lord, come and have your way in me. God, I thank you for the Love you have for me and the blood you shed for me on the cross. I am ready to follow you and I will not look back”. In Jesus Name. Amen
