It is when we are placed in the position of authority that our true self comes out.
It is when that ‘nice lady’ or that ‘nice man’ becomes rich or placed in the position of authority that we truly see the demon that has been sitting down in him or her all this while. but no one saw it because they blended with the rest of the world.
Power is what God will use to test EVERYONE of us on earth. It not only applies to people who are wealthy or has more than you, but it applies to all.
It applies to you when you have money but can’t give to someone who hasn’t eaten all day.
It applies to you when you see someone depress and going through difficulties and you can’t take just a few minutes of your time to boost them in encouragement. Refusing to use your power and rather turning the other way.
It applies to you when you fail to be a good father to your children and a good husband to your wife, as the head of the house.
It applies to you when you fail to be a good mother to your children and a good wife to your husband, as the builder of the house.
It applies to you when you fail to be a good child to your parents even though you know truly that they are giving you everything they have and trying all their best to make you happy.
It applies to you when God calls you to lead his people but yet you turn against His word and rather, start to turn His people against Him.
It applies to you when God plants a seed in you and you keep refusing to work on yourself to grow that seed.
Power. The most powerful factor that will test the truth of who you really are.
What will you do in the position of power? How will you react when you are giving the opportunity to bless others or privileged enough to have food on the table but yet ignore the fact that others are starving in your community?
Power. This is what will determine whether God can trust you with greater things.
