I am Alive in Christ

Our true life, in which we have been called to live, starts when we live “in” Christ. Life outside of Christ is the effort we give to try and manage our lives ourselves. This is exhausting, tiring and not sustainable.

A life completely surrendered to God brings wholeness, completeness, peace (even when things do not make sense), forgiveness and love.

Part of knowing your identity is being aware that you are alive in Christ. This means that you are now awakened to the life God has called you to live. The life that consists of continuous surrender to him, to his will. A life of peace, love, joy, and hardship (2 Timothy 2:3).

Being alive in Christ is to bring glory to God (1 Corinthians 10:31). This means that everything you do must bring God praise and glorify him – meaning that you live in the full measure God has called you to live-  in your character, worship, mindset and your lifestyle. Being alive in Christ is allowing God to express himself in your daily lifestyle.

Saying “I’m alive in Christ” means that you live your entire existence for him, and acknowledge him to be the essence of your life. It means that you say no to the world daily, to your flesh and you say yes to God, yes to his Spirit and his leading.

Being alive in Christ is a daily choice you must make to live full.

God does not want anyone to perish, that’s why Jesus came to this earth to die for ALL so that we could all live full and in Christ (2 Peter 3:9).

Are you living “in” Christ or are you “alive ” in him? If not, come to him today, He is calling you to a life of repentance and a life of wholeness. Surrender to him and live a life that glorifies him.

Romans 10:9-10 says: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
