The God of Light

You, Lord, keep my light burning; my God turns my shadows into sunshine- Psalm 18:28

Psalm 18:28 shares King David’s view of God as his light and the reason his lamp keeps shining.

In times of trouble, God’s radiance can break through. He is the brilliance illuminating the path we tread. On our life journey, weariness may set in, but this verse assures that with God, our strength won’t fade; His light will sustain us.

Rest assured, whatever shadows we face—be it sickness, sadness, or anxiety—God’s light pierces through, rescuing us. This verse reminds us that God isn’t limited by darkness; He pursues and saves His own.

The lamp can signify life and divine support, while darkness can represent challenges. The verse shows our trust in God’s ability to bring light even amid life’s struggles, turning our darkness into His radiant light.
