I appreciate all your efforts in trying to stay strong. I know it’s not easy. But, thank you for trying. Thank you for never giving up even when you were so close to leaving this world. I appreciate you for all your kindness and love you pour out to others. I appreciate you for caring for others even when you didn’t get anything back in return. Thank you for being you.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
One of the greatest challenges is to find out who you are and where you belong in a world full of anxiety and chaos.
It is not by accident that your are here on earth. You are positioned exactly where God wants you to be. Don’t wish for someone elses life because they don’t have the strength and willingness you have. See yourself in the full mirror of Christ and open your eyes to the Grace of God over your life.
God never said he was going to make life easy, but he said he will guide and show you how to live in this world by sending his Holy spirit.
Fear does not have to define you. The past does not have define you. Shame does not have to define you. Pain and hurt do not have define you. Don’t beat yourself up by what you think you could have done to make things easier for yourself. But appreciate where you are now. You may not be exactly where you want to be in life but at least you did not remain the same as you were last year.
Even if others fail to see the pain you have been holding in all this time don’t let that bring you down. Even if they can’t see the sacrifice you had to make, don’t let that bother you because God sees it all. God sees every effort, pain, sacrifice we make and his judgement is what matters most.
Appreciate your existence and be thankful for what is yet to come.
Appreciate the breathe of life in you.
Appreciate the opportunity to start life over as much times as you wish.
Appreciate your scares because they made you who you are now.
Appreciate your community because they encouraged your smile on tough days.
Appreciate the future because of the mysteries it holds.
Appreciate your culture because it adds to your personality
Appreciate your friends and family because they thought you love, kindness, pain, hurt, friendship, care, joy and hope
I just want to remind you that your life, as messy as you may think it looks, is perfect in the eyes of God and He is about to make the next move in your life. Embrace who you are and where you are now and appreciate the resources and people around you.
