“You cannot control what happens to you. But, you can control your attitude towards what happens to you and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you” ~ Brian Tracy
There are times that things will get hard and it may seem like there is nowhere to turn to and no one to confide in. I just want you to know that it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay. It’s really okay to look sad, feel sad and be sad. But one thing you must remember is that you must not let it take control of your life. It’s your life and you have control over everything you choose to do.
Everyone has those days where they feel sad. Some people can get up quickly on their feet after a hard fall or a bad day, while it may take others twice as much time. Some also find it hard to get right back on their feet and some way or another sadness, depression or anxious have crept in and managed to stay.
We try to avoid feeling a certain way in the hope that it will subside. But, what we don’t know is that it will eventually lead to something greater.
It is okay to feel pain at times. It is okay to cry about it and not let it build up inside until it catches up to you and breaks you into pieces.
Embrace everything that happens in your life, every pain, every failure, everything! Because that’s how you’ll grow. Avoiding it can lead to something greater than pain.
Whatever happens, you need to always remember you are in control. You are in control of whether you are going to let the past drag you down or whether you are going to go and create new memories. Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anybody can start today and make a new ending!
People will hurt you, life will attempt trillion times to break you, but you can control it, you can turn it around. It is okay not to be okay, as long as you are not giving up.
We all wear a smile on our faces but our smiles don’t always reflect how we feel. Sometimes people’s words may not be enough, turning to motivational and inspiring videos might just be that boost you need to lift you up again.
Do not be a victim of pain, failure, depression or sadness. Your life matters, and you must live it the way you want! Pain is always there because life is always painful. But suffering is a choice.
You must choose whether you are going to let the pain control you or you are going to control the pain!
Your life, your choice!
