Freedom

Freedom means you are unobstructed in living your life as you choose. Anything less is a form of slavery. – Wayne Dyer

As humans, it is very important to realize that the only reason why Jesus died on the cross and why Easter is celebrated, is so that he can give us freedom of life. He came to set us free from the things that have imprisoned us and what does not produce life in us.

From your own point of view of the life you live in now, are you free? Are you free from within? Can you say that you have peace within you?

Freedom is not just about being free from physical prison but rather being free from mental and spiritual prison.

Freedom is when your mind is free from all the noises of the world. It is when you find contentment with life even when you don’t have as much. It is not until you have everything or until you reach your life goals before you can experience freedom.

The enemy rejoices in tieing us down to his chains. This is why it is important to be vigilant in prayer. Never let prayer cease from your mouth because that is your key to breaking the enemies chain over your life.

When you are free, you feel contentment, open and you will be willing to use your gifts to impact others. When you are free you will always find peace in God even when things don’t make sense, all your trust and hope will always rest on him.

There are different forms of freedom;

Freedom from:

• self-limitation
• inner battles
• Self-hate
• depression
• Isolation
• setbacks
• unforgiveness
• struggles
• Spiritual battles
• Spiritual chains
• Toxic relationships
• Sexual immoralities
• And many more

If you are willing to set yourself free from the chains of your inner battles, then everything else will follow.

Today, I pray for whoever is reading this that the chains that you feel that you are trapped in or tied to be broken, by the name of Jesus Christ, the all-powerful, all-sufficient, ancient of days, the One and only, Emmanuel, Prince of peace and Lord of lords. You are released and set free by his merciful hands. In Jesus Name.
